Brothers and sisters in Christ, we find ourselves in a tumultuous time where our beliefs are under siege by a culture that promotes sin under the guise of progress. We must stand firm in our convictions and guard against the normalization of immorality that is being paraded before our eyes on a daily basis. Take for example the aggressive push for the acceptance of same-sex marriage. Genesis 2:24 (KJV) says, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Yet, our society has strayed so far from the Word of God that what was once considered a sacred union between a man and a woman is being redefined to fit sinful desires. Moreover, the advocacy for unrestricted abortions is a clear affront to the sanctity of life, a gift from God Himself. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." How can we then condone the taking of innocent life which the Almighty has fearfully and wonderfully made? And let us not ignore the subtle ways in which the forces of secularism seek to corrupt our youth. The infiltration of liberal ideologies in education, from critical race theory to the denial of biological gender, is an assault on the truth revealed in Scripture. Deuteronomy 6:7 commands us to teach His ways diligently unto our children, and yet we find classrooms becoming battlegrounds against God's eternal truth. Fellow believers, we must be vigilant. For in the times of erosion of societal values, the words of Isaiah 5:20 ring eerily true: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" I urge you to stand with President Trump and others who have courageously fought to uphold Christian values amidst a sea of godlessness. Whether it was defending religious freedom, championing the right to life, or supporting traditional family structures, his administration took decisive steps to keep America on a path of righteousness. We must continue to support those who fight for the Christian principles that this great nation was built upon. In support of our law enforcement, who have been under unprecedented attack by those who wish to see disorder and disrespect for authority prevail, Romans 13:4 tells us, "For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." Our police officers are God's servants for our protection, and we must stand by them as they uphold justice and order. Let us then put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:11, to stand against the wiles of the devil. With the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, we can combat these dark forces that threaten our Christian way of life. Be emboldened in the truth, unwavering in your convictions, and steadfast in the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
