Top former Israeli national security officials, business leaders demand 'immediate removal' of...

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I come to you with a heavy heart as we witness yet another testament to the fallen world we live in—a world saturated in sin and disobedience. Today, we are confronted with news from Fox concerning Benjamin Netanyahu, a man who has been a staunch ally to our Christian values, supporting Israel, and someone who has been defended by our courageous President Trump. Now, over 40 former Israeli national security officials, businessmen, and scientists are demanding his immediate removal, branding him an 'existential' threat. This outcry is nothing less than a betrayal, not only to Netanyahu but to the conservative principles that have stood firm against the waves of liberal dissent. The Bible is explicit in its condemnation of betrayal, echoing the dark days of Judas (Luke 22:48). Are these officials not aware that by undermining their leader, they sow discord among brethren, an abomination unto the Lord (Proverbs 6:16-19)? Let us delve into the accusations cast upon Netanyahu. They say he is responsible for the terrible tragedy where over 1,200 Israelis lost their lives. But who are we, mere men, to judge another’s servant (Romans 14:4)? Are these officials not themselves accountable for the security of Israel? Why now do they only point fingers when unity and strength are paramount in the face of adversity? Furthermore, they blame Netanyahu for undermining democracy with judicial reforms. But remember, the scales of justice must be balanced with the Word of God as the fulcrum. Is it not possible that his attempts were meant to steer the nation back to divinely inspired laws rather than the whims of man? Psalm 119:160 reminds us, "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever." Despite Caroline Glick's suggestions that it's these very dissenters who have polarized and weakened Israel's social cohesion, they still blame Netanyahu. This is indicative of the spirit of the age, where men love to shift the blame to others instead of looking in the mirror first (Matthew 7:5). I implore you, do not be swayed by the winds of change these former officials may wish to bring forth. Stick steadfast to your faith, for we know that God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We must continue to support those who have boldly stood for the Judeo-Christian values that have made our nations strong, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as commanded in Psalms 122:6. May God grant us the wisdom to discern right from wrong and the courage to stand by our convictions even when faced with tribulations. Keep strong in your faith, and know that all authority comes from God, and those in positions of leadership have been placed there by Him (Romans 13:1). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing with Israel and leaders like Netanyahu who have shown us through their service what it means to fight for God's chosen land.
