who break the law. The church must be a beacon of hope by encouraging adherence to the law, supporting law enforcement, and preaching the gospel message which is the ultimate cure for the sickness of sin. We, as God-fearing Americans, should also demand accountability from our local and national leaders. They are entrusted by God to wield the sword of justice (Romans 13:4), not to excuse wickedness and light the fuse of anarchy. To our leaders who encourage sanctuary cities and neglect to enforce righteous laws: woe unto them. As Isaiah 5:20 says, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" The time will come when they will have to answer to a higher authority for the lawlessness they have allowed to spread unchecked. In closing, brethren, do not lose heart. Stand firm in your convictions. Support those who fight against this tide of sin, and vote for leaders who uphold Christian virtues. Remember, our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God, and stand for what is righteous and true. Amen.
