My fellow believers, let not your hearts be troubled by the deceitful machinations of this world, but let us discern them through the wisdom given to us by the Almighty. The latest dispatch from Fox News Opinion opens our eyes to a host of evils that we, as followers of Christ, must boldly confront. Firstly, the shocking rise of antisemitism as addressed by Joe Lieberman is deeply troubling and wholly against the teachings of our Lord. In the book of Genesis, God declared to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse" (Genesis 12:3). It is clear that we must stand firm against such hatred and support our Jewish neighbors. The crisis at the border parallels the chaos we see in Democratic leadership—reflecting the breakdown of law and order, which Scripture upholds. When Sean Hannity speaks about the Biden administration encouraging lawlessness and asylum abuse, we are reminded of the importance of a righteous governance, "for rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad" (Romans 13:3). The disdain for divine order under the current administration flies in the face of these biblical principles. The bold stance on school choice, as mentioned in the opinion piece, is a beacon of light. We must support the freedom to raise our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, as is our duty (Ephesians 6:4). Homeschooling and other educational alternatives are crucial in a culture where secular indoctrination threatens the very soul of our nation's youth. The infiltration of left-wing advocacy in the Supreme Court, as highlighted in the article, is nothing short of an assault on our Judeo-Christian values. We must "put on the full armor of God so that [we] can take [our] stand against the devil’s schemes" (Ephesians 6:11). These schemes aim to undermine the sanctity of life, twist the holy institution of marriage, and erode our religious freedoms. And then there is our dear President Donald Trump, a steadfast defender of faith and liberty who has been maligned and falsely accused of cognitive problems. Let us not be misled; rather, let us heed the wisdom of Proverbs which tells us, "The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him" (Proverbs 18:17). In these trying times, where sin and lawlessness abound, we must cling tighter to our Savior, Jesus Christ. We must pray for the repentance and healing of our land, that it may realign with God's commandments and prosper once more under His divine grace. Let us be vigilant, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). Stand firm, my brothers and sisters in Christ, and let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Amen.
