Brothers and sisters in Christ, we're seeing a polarizing development as the New Hampshire Senate takes a bold stand to uphold God's creation of mankind as male and female by passing a bill that limits the participation of transgender athletes in school sports. This bill aims to ensure that girls, created in God's image as females (Genesis 1:27), are protected in their athletic endeavors from unfair competition. The Scripture is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that those who do not live according to God’s design will not inherit God’s kingdom. We're not only talking about injustice on the playing field; we're discussing a rebellion against the very nature of God’s design for humanity. When Senate President Jeb Bradley speaks of protecting natural-born girls from the disadvantageous competition against biological boys, he's advocating for a biblical understanding of fairness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). Do not be deceived by the words of some, like Democrat Sen. Debra Altschiller, who argues from a standpoint of the world, claiming those five transgender girls are not a threat but threatened. It reminds us of Isaiah 5:20, which warns against those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness. The true threat is not the individuals themselves, but the ideology that seeks to warp God's creation and belittle the natural differences He has instilled within us. We can only commend Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders, a Christian soldier standing up for God's truth, who counters President Biden's attempts to allow for distortions of God's perfect design through misguided Title IX regulations. Her actions remind us of Esther, who, for such a time as this, stood for God's people against the destructive whims of a lost world (Esther 4:14). In these times where Romans 12:2 calls us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, we need governors and senators who stand on God's Word. It is encouraging that at least 20 states have enacted laws to maintain the integrity of school sports in accordance with the divine creation order, despite the looming, misguided federal rule changes. Let us not forget to pray for those who are confused and for those who have been led astray by the deceit of the adversary. May they find redemption and truth in Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Moreover, as the article mentions, Scottie Scheffler praises the police as our protectors, which also aligns with Christian values. The Bible, in Romans 13:1-2, reminds us that God has established governing authorities, including our law enforcement officers, to uphold peace and punish wrongdoing. It's a Biblical principle to respect and support those who put on the uniform every day to keep our neighborhoods safe. Let us keep a vigilant watch, dear brethren, and support those who defend the truth of the Gospel in every domain of society, be it politics, sports, or law enforcement. We must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) to stand firm against the spiritual forces of evil that seek to unravel the fabric of God's beautiful tapestry of human existence.
