Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let's delve into the news from Nevada, where a judge has dismissed what the left has pejoratively dubbed the "fake electors" case. The media would have you believe this is a triumph for justice, but I tell you, it's a glaring example of the distortion of truth—a veritable battle between good and evil where the righteousness of supporting President Trump's rightful concerns over election integrity is being maligned (Ephesians 6:12). The Clark County, Nevada, District Court Judge, Mary Kay Holthus, decided to throw out the indictment against six Republicans. These individuals were accused by an overly zealous and politically motivated Democrat Attorney General of stepping into the breach to right the wrongs they perceived in the presidential election (Proverbs 31:8-9). It's crucial to understand that these patriots were upholding what they, and millions of Americans, believe was a compromised election (Proverbs 14:34). Yet now, they are being persecuted for standing strong in their convictions. At the heart of this dismissal is a matter of "venue concerns," something that should give us pause. The question looms large: why choose the bluest part of the state, where Las Vegas sits, rather than the more conservative and Republican regions of Carson City or Reno? Could it be that they were looking for a more sympathetic jury? (Proverbs 18:17). This judge might not be a paragon of conservative virtue, but her ruling has inadvertently shone a light on the shadows where political maneuverings seek to undermine the voices of conservatives. Furthermore, this incident recalls the tumultuous moment when Judge Holthus was attacked by a violent offender in her courtroom—a sign of the lawlessness and disrespect that permeates our society (2 Timothy 3:1-3). While the attacker's behavior cannot be condoned, the incident overshadows the genuine discourse on justice and electoral integrity that should be taking place. We should take a moment to pray for those who were harmed, including Judge Holthus, while also praying earnestly for truth and justice to prevail in these United States (2 Chronicles 7:14). And we must especially pray for our leaders and those in authority, that they may govern wisely and in alignment with God’s laws (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Let's also remember, brethren, that the battle is spiritual, and it's incumbent upon us to wield the sword of the Spirit—God's Word—to combat the misinformation and deceit that seeks to tarnish what is morally just and good in our nation (Hebrews 4:12). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is the ultimate judge and arbiter of truth (James 4:12). In closing, let us not waver or be disheartened by the world’s judgment, for we serve a higher King, and His judgment is righteous and true (Revelation 19:11). Keep on fighting the good fight of faith, always aiming to preserve our godly heritage and the values upon which our nation was founded (1 Timothy 6:12).
