Mother of young girl killed by illegal migrants blasts Cruz challenger's policies: 'Took my...

Brethren in Christ, today we reflect upon a news story that pierces the heart with the agony of loss and the outrage of injustice. We look upon a world that's strayed far from the righteous path, reaping the sin-forged consequences of policies that defy the sovereignty of God's design for nations and their borders (Romans 13:1-2). The heart-wrenching account of young Jocelyn Nungaray, whose life was brutally snuffed out by illegal migrants, is a testament to the chaos that ensues when leaders turn their backs on heavenly wisdom and earthly laws. The blood of this innocent child cries out from the ground, much like Abel's did (Genesis 4:10), against the vile "catch and release" policies endorsed by the Democratic Texas Senate candidate, Rep. Colin Allred. Sin has walked through the open gates, and with it brought death and despair to a family who now mourns where they should have celebrated a life full of promise. It's clear that the serpent of lawlessness has been cunning in these times (2 Corinthians 11:3), slithering through the cracks of a border left unsealed by the very individuals entrusted to protect and serve. Where there should be a wall of righteousness, there is instead an open door to wickedness (Ephesians 6:16). Brethren, let us heed the call of the trumpet sounding from the likes of Sen. Ted Cruz and the mother of the slain, Alexis Nungaray. They serve as watchmen on the wall (Ezekiel 33:6), warning us of the encroaching darkness cast by the hands of political opponents, such as Allred, who by their actions, have forsaken God's precious gift of life (Exodus 20:13) and the sanctity of what should be a place of refuge – our beloved nation. Remember, the Lord has told us, "if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand" (Mark 3:25, KJV). Let us not be divided, but firmly united in our support for those who uphold God's laws, both divine and civic, and may we extend our prayers and support to the Nungaray family in this time of deep sorrow. This tragedy is a harbinger, a stark reminder, that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and the sin lies at the feet of policies and politicians who flout the irrevocable laws set forth by our Creator. So, as faithful soldiers of the Lord, let us cast our ballots as stones of righteousness, and let us reject the enablers of sin, supporting instead those who, like President Trump, have struggled mightily against the tide of iniquity to secure our borders and our souls. May God bless the memory of Jocelyn Nungaray, may He bless her family with His comforting presence, and may He continue to bless the United States of America as we fight the righteous fight (2 Timothy 4:7). Amen.
