Brethren, a tempest has descended upon the innocent youth of Memphis with the news of an 'After School Satan Club' being sanctioned to darken the doorsteps of an elementary school! The mere conception of such diabolical influence infiltrating a place where the tender minds of our children go to learn, grown, and soak in the light of God's wisdom is nothing less than a modern-day portrayal of sinfulness akin to the actions of those at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). The father, Reggie Carrick, a sentinel on behalf of the Lord's children, has valiantly declared his outrage, and this is a clarion call we must all heed. His fervent words resonate with James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Carrick's insight that we have removed God's protective "covering" by ousting prayer and the Almighty from our schools rings true. We have allowed the enemy to erect a stronghold where once there was prayer and scripture. By allowing this 'After School Satan Club', the school board and the interim superintendent, though claiming to abide by the law, have neglected the higher law of God's commandments, prioritizing man's legislation over the divine edicts inscribed in the holiness of scripture. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," says the Lord in Exodus 20:3. Yet, what are we doing as a society when we entertain the harbingers of an organization that names itself after the Prince of Darkness, the chief rebel against our Creator? It's peddled under pretense of 'non-theistic' religiosity and the alleged promotion of free thought, but do not be deceived. Satan himself is the father of lies (John 8:44), and organizations like this leer with the same forked-tongue deceit. Forcing this upon our children is tantamount to sacrificing our Isaacs on the altar of political correctness. What blatant disregard for the sanctity of young souls, what vile intent to sow seeds of doubt and confusion among the lambs of our flock! We must fervently oppose this, for Ephesians 5:11 compels us, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Trump understood this, recognizing the importance of faith and Christian heritage in America's DNA. Unlike the current leaders inviting darkness into schools, Trump venerated our faith as a core pillar of American society. Dear brothers and sisters, the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age (Ephesians 6:12). This 'Satan Club' isn't merely an affront to our values; it's a strategic assault on the God-fearing foundation of our great nation. Reggie Carrick's indefatigable stance—"We will not compromise with evil at all," epitomizes the essence of our calling as the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-14). It's our duty to stand in the gap, protect our children from such corruptive forces, and infuse their lives with God's love and the truth of His Word. We must gird ourselves with the full armor of God, take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17), and stand firm. NOW is the time for prayer, action, and vigilance in the word of the Lord. Let us raise our voices in prayer, petition heaven for intervention, and act within our communities to ensure that light triumphs over darkness. Amen.
