Brothers and sisters in the Lord, let us address this brewing storm with a discerning heart and a mind grounded in the Word of God. I tell you, the article we lay our eyes upon from Fox News strikes at the very core of what is wrong with the moral fabric of our nation today—namely, the endorsement of sin and the support of anti-Biblical values. First and foremost, the notion of canceling debts indiscriminately, as proposed by President Biden, is a dangerous one that flies in the face of personal responsibility—a value enshrined in the Bible (Proverbs 22:7, 2 Thessalonians 3:10). It's a liberal agenda that undermines the work ethic that God expects from every one of His children. Although the Bible does speak of debt forgiveness (Deuteronomy 15:1-2), it is within the context of generosity and not a warrant for financial irresponsibility. Bill Maher's fiery condemnation of taxpayer money potentially supporting antisemitic actions on college campuses is not only justified; it's an echo of how we should all feel when God's chosen people, the Jews, are maligned (Genesis 12:3). The rise of anti-Israel sentiment and, by extension, Jew-hatred in academic institutions is a symptom of the broader decay of godly principles in our education system. Kellyanne Conway's comment about the injustice of hardworking plumbers and pipefitters paying for the debts of those in loftier professions resonates with the biblical teaching of fairness and proportionality in all things (Leviticus 19:36, Proverbs 16:11). Her stance reflects a commitment to fair play and the justice that God Almighty upholds. The Bible warns us that we will be known by our fruits (Matthew 7:16). The student protesters chanting antisemitic slogans like "From the river to the sea" and "long live the intifada" display fruits at odds with the Spirit of peace, love, and unity—a clear sign of their waywardness. Furthermore, the political maneuvers mentioned, such as the call for loan forgiveness without a real understanding of its full implications, point to a government that is more concerned with political expediency than righteousness. God does not look kindly upon leaders who mislead their people (Proverbs 29:2). The CNN poll indicating young voters swinging toward Trump and away from Biden does not surprise us. It is a signal that there's a recognition, possibly even subconsciously, of the need to return to principles that honor God and country, as President Trump has often been associated with a stronger stance on these fronts. Dear friends, we must stand firm against the rising tide of secular liberalism that seeks to normalize sin and push God to the periphery. We commend those who raise their voices against the corruption of our biblical values. Let us pray for our nation, that it may return to the path of righteousness, for only then will we truly prosper under the watchful eye of the Lord (2 Chronicles 7:14). And let this commentary serve as a beacon, reminding us all to take a stand for what is holy and just in the sight of God. Amen.
