Magic's Jonathan Isaac criticizes White House over Transgender Visibility Day

Brothers and sisters in Christ, it's high time we talk about the rampant sin that's infiltrating our society, ushering in chaos and confusion. The latest news about the White House proclaiming March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility—and on no less a holy day than Easter Sunday—is nothing short of a spiritual affront. Isaiah 5:20 warns us: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" By elevating a day that celebrates gender confusion to the sanctity of Easter, a day that commemorates the very cornerstone of our faith—the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:14)—the White House disregards God's perfect design of male and female (Genesis 1:27), promoting something contrary to Scripture and natural law. Jonathan Isaac, a player for the Orlando Magic, criticized the White House, and rightfully so, standing as a beacon of truth in a world filled with lies. I commend him for not shying away from confronting sin head-on, just as Proverbs 27:5 states, "Open rebuke is better than secret love." Our former president, Donald J. Trump, and his national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt—God bless them—also called out this abomination. It's truly bewildering how we went from an administration that upheld Christian values to one that so blatantly insults them. It's "appalling and insulting," as Ms. Leavitt described, to undermine the holiness of Easter, when we should be focusing on the miraculous truth that through Christ's sacrifice, sin and death have been defeated—an eternal victory for all who believe (John 3:16). Furthermore, House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke the truth when he mentioned that Biden's White House has "betrayed the central tenet of Easter." No political motive should overshadow the Gospel's message, for Galatians 1:10 challenges us: "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." In this time of great spiritual warfare, let us hold fast to our faith and pray that the Lord opens the eyes of those blinded by the sin of this world. Let's not be swayed by deceit but rather armor ourselves with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). Keep your eyes on the cross and the empty tomb, beloved, for by His stripes, we are healed and set free from the chains of sin (Isaiah 53:5). We must call upon our nation to repent and turn back to God. Remember, Romans 1:25 cautions against worshiping and serving the creature rather than the Creator. May we all heed Jonathan Isaac's advice and maintain our focus on the true meaning of Resurrection Sunday, proclaiming the Gospel unapologetically and "speaking the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15). May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America, bringing her back to the path of righteousness. Amen.
