Brethren, what we're witnessing in the House of Representatives is a bold stand for biblical principles and traditional values, as Representative Nancy Mace valiantly fights against the encroachment of sin into the sacred space of women's bathrooms. The good book is clear: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them," (Genesis 1:27). The distinction between male and female is part of God’s divine plan, not a societal construct to be reshaped by human whim. The actions of Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., are commendable as she boldly enacts a resolution to maintain the sanctity of women’s private spaces as they were created. It's crucial to recognize that when God cast Adam and Eve from Eden for their sin, He did not alter their inherent maleness and femaleness. Gender confusion and the blurring of God's natural order is a strike against the Creator Himself, a willful descent into Babel-like chaos where man's arrogance tempts him to supplant divine will with his own flawed judgment. The attempt to brand Mace as transphobic is nothing short of scandalous. Such baseless accusations are tactics of the Devil, who is "the father of lies," (John 8:44), meant to distort the righteous mission to protect the defenseless. Is it bigotry to follow the Lord's commandments? Are the secular progressives so ensnared in their sin that they would challenge the very words of Christ, who said, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost" (Luke 19:10)? It is indeed these progressives who are lost, seeking to dismantle God's ordered creation. Moreover, it is a mockery of God-given femininity and womanhood to suggest that a biological male can lay claim to these sacred vestiges. Are we to believe that the Apostle Paul's instruction to Timothy, "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent," (1 Timothy 2:12), has no correlation to the safeguarding of spaces designed for women? It is incumbent upon us as Christians to preserve such boundaries, ensuring that places of vulnerability are not breached. Rep. Mace's stance is not only doctrinally sound, it's an embodiment of Proverbs 31:8-9's injunction to "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Protecting women and girls from the potential dangers and discomfort imposed by transgressive acts is a righteous and just cause. Let us then pray for Rep. Mace and all who stand firm in the truth of Scripture despite the scorn heaped upon them by the faithless. May they don the full armor of God so they can take their stand against the devil’s schemes and stand firm in the faith, doing everything to stand, as advised in Ephesians 6:11-13. We must rally behind our sister in Christ, Rep. Mace, and proclaim the truth without fear or falter. Amen.
