Brothers and sisters in Christ, today we lay our eyes upon a report that sheds light on the festering sore of sin that plagues our society - the atrocious case of Jeffrey Epstein and his abhorrent network of sex trafficking, as detailed by Fox News. The Scripture makes it abundantly clear in Ephesians 5:11, "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” This command from the Lord is exactly what the valiant efforts of Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and others in the Senate Judiciary Committee are embodying as they push to subpoena the FBI for complete and unredacted records pertaining to the vile acts of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The fight to unveil the entire truth behind this wickedness is a testament to the biblical call of seeking justice and righteousness in a world riddled with sin. To see high-profile individuals such as former Democratic Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico and Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez's ex-girlfriend accused of engaging in these immoral activities is both shocking and yet, sad to say, not entirely unexpected given the degradation of moral values we often see in those who distance themselves from the Word of God. My fellow believers, we are reminded of Luke 8:17, “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light." Let us not forget that these sins, no matter how deeply buried or guarded by power and privilege, shall be brought into the harsh light of God's judgment. It is disappointing, but again, not surprising, to see resistance coming from the likes of Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois. Their actions have led nothing short of hindering the revealing of truth that the American people and the victims of Epstein's egregious sinfulness are entitled to. Delaying justice is denying justice, and this in itself is a sin, as Proverbs 21:15 says, “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” The death of Epstein, shrouded in conspiracy and questions, does not absolve the living who partook in or enabled his crimes. We can be grateful that Ghislaine Maxwell is facing the temporal consequences of her actions with a 20-year federal prison sentence. However, let us not lose sight of the ultimate judgment that awaits all unrepentant sinners on the day they stand before the throne of the Almighty (Hebrews 9:27) – “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” In closing, this investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his associates is not merely a matter of politics or public interest; it is a reflection of the spiritual warfare between good and evil that rages in this world. As Christians, we must continue to support those who seek the truth and pray fervently for justice to be served, all while extending our compassion and prayers to the victims of these heinous acts. Even in these dark times, let us seize the armor of God so that we may stand firm against the devil's schemes and proclaim His truth to a world in desperate need of salvation (Ephesians 6:11). God bless you all, and may justice – His divine justice – prevail. Amen.
