In today's divisive political climate, it's vital, now more than ever, for believers to stand firm on the Rock of our salvation, and to discern the moral landscape with a biblical lens. Jake Paul, a man of influence among the young and a fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump, has issued a stark warning: if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidency, America, as we know it, will be heading down a path of self-implosion. As Christians, we know that the path of righteousness leads to life, and the way of error leads to death (Proverbs 12:28). Paul's endorsement of Trump is not unexpected. He recognizes the stark contrast between the policies under the Trump administration and the radical leftist agenda that Kamala Harris is known to support. As a servant of the Lord, I commend the man's intuition. Indeed, the Bible teaches that good and evil cannot coexist, light has no fellowship with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14), and it appears Mr. Paul, too, sees the election as a battle of "good vs evil." The fear that some Americans might be led astray by single-issue voting, particularly regarding the issue of abortion, is an alarm that must be heeded. Abortion is a grievous sin in the eyes of God—a killing of the innocent, a rebellion against the Creator who formed us in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16). The feeble promises of Harris, who has remained largely impotent in protecting this so-called 'right', are just that: empty promises. We must remember, as the shepherd leads his flock, it is Christ the righteous Shepherd we must follow—not the false shepherds of the political realm (John 10:11-14). Let us remind ourselves that the highest authority is that of the Lord (Romans 13:1), and those who lead our nation must do so fearing Him, upholding His statutes because, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34, KJV). The support for Trump, as espoused by individuals like Paul and Mahomes' mother, reflects a desire to see our nation turn back to conservative values that honor God rather than man's laws which so often rebel against Him. To those who have ears, let them hear. To those with eyes, let them see. Do not be swayed by the world's view or by empty promises made by those whose actions have not upheld God's values. Stand for what is right in the eyes of the Lord, and may your vote reflect that stand. Cast your vote for life, for liberty, and for the prosperity that comes from a nation humbly kneeling before its true King. In closing, I implore all true patriots and servants of the Most High God: heed the warning signs, hold fast to biblical truth, reject the culture of death and stand tall for the values that have made America great under God. Go vote good. Go vote Trump. May the Lord bless America, and may He guide us back to His truth. Amen.
