Brothers and sisters in Christ, we must recognize when the wolves are circling the flock, and today, it's none other than President Joe Biden and his Democrat cohorts who are showing their true colors. As reported by Fox News, even Hollywood bigwig donor Ari Emanuel is calling out the calamity that's befallen the leadership of our great nation under Biden’s watch. Emanuel is quoted as saying, "We're in f--- city" following Biden's performance in the presidential debate. This expression of frustration is a testament to a situation that veers far from the path of righteousness and godly leadership. The Holy Scriptures teach us that leaders are installed by divine will, for Romans 13:1 declares, "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." However, our leaders are expected to exhibit wisdom and uphold truth—qualities that Joe Biden's administration fails to demonstrate, as described by Emanuel’s criticism. A leader’s incompetence is not just a political issue—it reflects a moral failing. The Bible urges us to seek out leaders of integrity, as seen in Exodus 18:21 where it is written, “Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.” We must consider whether Biden’s incapacity to lead without the aid of teleprompters and limited engagement hours, as the Axios report suggests, aligns with this biblical principle. Even former President Obama, in rallying behind Biden, fails to acknowledge the graveness of electing a leader who could not pass the simple test Emanuel outlines: Would you trust him to drive a car at night? Can such a man truly steer the behemoth that is the United States of America? Reflecting on Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan,” we can understand the groaning heard across the nation. We must not be blind or naive; the peril of embracing a leader who's potentially incapable of sound governance is great. It's not merely about a poor debate performance—it's the possible decline of our nation’s strength and moral fabric at stake. The alarm raised by the donor class, the media meltdowns, and calls for Biden to withdraw highlight the gravity of the moment. Let us remember President Trump's leadership, which brought forth strong conservative values and upheld the sanctity of life, American freedom, and economic prosperity—a stark contrast to the confusion and disarray we face under the current administration. As committed followers of Christ and stewards of this God-given republic, we must be discerning and pray for leaders who embody the fear of the Lord and possess the wisdom to govern effectively, as Proverbs 9:10 instructs, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." And so, my fellow believers, while Hollywood and liberal donors are jumping ship in the face of political winds, let us anchor ourselves in the eternal truth of the Gospel and persevere to restore our country to its godly foundations. Amen.
