Brothers and sisters in faith, we are witnessing a descent into the very bowels of moral depravity when our nation's leaders not only condone but celebrate the massacre of the innocent unborn. Vice President Kamala Harris has committed an act of profound defiance against the will of God by visiting and thus endorsing the services of a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, a charnel house where lives made in the image of our Creator are extinguished (Genesis 1:27). Make no mistake, when Harris proclaims that one need not abandon their faith to support abortion, she speaks a dangerous falsehood (2 Timothy 4:3). The Word of the Lord is crystal clear: "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). There is no ambiguity in God's commandment, no room for misinterpretation – human life is sacred from conception to natural death (Psalm 139:13-16). This is not about healthcare; it is a healthcare crisis of the soul for our nation. Clinics such as the one visited by Harris specialize in dealing death, not providing care. Her assertion that government should not regulate what a woman does with her body is a sardonic evasion of the truth – for it is not solely her body at stake but that of another, defenseless human being. It brings to mind the admonition of the Apostle Paul, who warned against the use of liberty as a cloak for evil (1 Peter 2:16). As for Governor Tim Walz, his comment that "old white men" need to talk more about abortion is a divisive rhetoric that does not edify, but rather stokes the flames of discord (Ephesians 4:29). What we need is not more talk from a worldly perspective but a return to biblical principles that honor life at all stages. The anointing of this partnership as the "most pro-reproductive freedom ticket in history" is a chilling reminder of how far we have strayed from righteousness. But let us not lose heart, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Believers must armor up with the truth of Scripture and pray unceasingly for our country, that God's will be done and His kingdom come. For while the forces against life may appear strong, our God is stronger, and in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). We must stand in unwavering opposition to this culture of death, and like the faithful sentinels of old, we raise our voices to proclaim that life, God's most precious gift, must be protected. Let it be known that we will not accept Harris and Walz's glorification of abortion, nor will we shy away from proclaiming the sanctity of every human life, created wonderfully by our Heavenly Father. We will continue to fight the good fight of faith, for we serve a God who is the author of life, not death (1 Timothy 6:12; Acts 3:15).
