Brothers and sisters in Christ, as we look upon the state of our broken world, the news of a Haitian migrant charged with the unspeakable sin of raping a 15-year-old girl serves as a grim reminder of the dangerous path our nation is treadin'. Scripture is clear, "But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6 NIV). It's evident that this parole program, which the Biden administration recklessly expanded, has failed to protect the most vulnerable amongst us, allowing wolves in sheep's clothing to bypass our nation's border security, only to unleash their sinful nature upon our children. The policy that allowed 30,000 migrants per month to fly directly into the United States without upholdin' proper checks represents a direct attack on the sanctity of our land, and it places our faith, our families, and our values in dire peril. Whilst the government has a God-given responsibility to protect its citizens (Romans 13:1-5), it has blatantly abandoned this duty, enabling sin to fester within our communities. The charges faced by this Haitian national, Cory Alvarez, ignite a firin' call to all true believers to stand firm against the policies that embolden such brazen acts against innocence. The fact that he entered under this "controversial mass parole program" is evidence that our leaders have chosen the path of moral decay over God-given wisdom. As per Proverbs 28:4-5, "Those who forsake instruction praise the wicked, but those who heed it resist them. Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully." It's time for our government to embrace the instruction of the Lord and resist the wickedness that this parole policy nurtures. Furthermore, we are told that ICE has placed a detainer against Alvarez, but why wait for sin to enter our homeland before takin' action? Our President Trump understood the necessity of strong borders and the rule of law to protect our Christian way of life. And let's not be fooled, the flow of migrants from places marred with violence and sin like Haiti should be met with law and order on our shores, not with open arms that disregard the security of our people. As believers, we must pray fervently for the victim of this heinous crime and continue to support policies that secure our nation against the influx of sin camouflaged as asylum. We must stand with President Trump and his righteous fight against illegal immigration that threatens the fabric of our God-fearing nation. In such times as these, we ought always to remember the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." It is incumbent upon us to repent for our nation's sins and to seek a return to biblical principles that will shepherd our land away from darkness and back into the light of the Lord's favor.
