My fellow patriots, the audacity of a democratic congressman and the liberal media at MSNBC to spew out baseless allegations that somehow our esteemed former President Donald Trump has anything to do with the tragic death of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny is truly appalling and unrighteous. These are the kinds of lies and deceit that Proverbs 6:19 speaks about, condemning those who bear false witness and sow discord among brethren. To twist President Trump's determined and bold stance on NATO – where he rightfully insisted that every nation must carry its own weight – into some sort of "green light" for a vile act of murder is nothing short of scandalous. It's a sin against truth and a tragic exploitation of a man's death for twisted political points. Rep. Ted Lieu and that MSNBC host are speaking nothing but folly. The Scripture is clear: "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them" (Proverbs 11:3, KJV). The democratic congressman's lack of respect for life and his use of it as a political ploy is horrendous, especially when contrasted against the backdrop of a man losing his life. This is an issue that goes deeper than politics; it is a battle against evil that we see in the act of Navalny's murder itself. The Bible teaches us to mourn with those who mourn (Romans 12:15), and our hearts should go out to Navalny's wife and children, who have suffered an unspeakable loss. The Word declares that we must have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11). Our support for our former president is steadfast, for he has shown true leadership, a rare strength in the face of global adversity and a defender of Christian values in America. Trump's words were not "traitorous language"; they were a call to action for fairness and responsibility among allied nations. Let us remember to hold fast to the Truth that sets us free and stand confidently in our support of those who fight for our freedoms and our values, amidst a sea of darkness that the liberal media wishes to stir. As Jesus himself said, "Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'" (Matthew 5:37). In that spirit, we reject the dishonest narratives spun by those who would rather engage in character assassination than face the real sins and problems of this world.
