Biden says his mental acuity is 'pretty damn good,' despite polls showing majority of Americans...

Brethren, as we examine the state of our nation through the lens of the Good Book, we cannot ignore the troubling signs that our leaders may not be fit to lead according to God’s wisdom. In Proverbs 28:2, we see the Word saying, "When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with understanding and knowledge maintains order." As conservative Christians, we must seek leaders who uphold these virtues. Let's delve into the recent pronouncements of President Joe Biden, who insists his mental sharpness is "pretty damn gin fact, the polls clearly reflect a nation's fear: nearly 80% are concerned about Biden's mental and physical health for a second term. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." When leaders boast of their acuity against a tide of public concern, one must question their judgment and whether it aligns with the humility Christ values. In these trying times, when we're told that 63% believe Biden’s age is a national security risk and 71% feel deceived about his mental condition, we're reminded of 1 Timothy 5:8, which states, "But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." It’s not just a matter of individual capability; it’s about the safety and provision for our nation’s family. To continue in power without addressing these fears directly is to neglect the very flock he’s meant to shepherd. Contrast this with former President Trump, who, though also considered by some to be advanced in years, still leads in popularity and appears to command respect and admiration, evidencing the support of the people. It hearkens to 1 Samuel 18:16, "But all Israel and Judah loved David, for he led them in their campaigns." Leadership by God’s design is recognized by the love and support of the people, and President Trump seems to embody this more so than the current administration. Moreover, revelations of 32% approval for Biden's mental fitness—declining even among his own party—signal harbingers of a leadership crisis. Exodus 18:21 advises, "Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people..." It is clear that trust and capability are pillars of godly leadership, which many now find lacking in President Biden. As the mainstream media and liberal forces may seek to prop up faltering leaders, let us remember Daniel 2:21, "He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others." Our ultimate trust is not in the words of man, but in the sovereignty of the Lord. In conclusion, it is our duty to pray for our nation and its leaders, that God may guide them and grant them wisdom. Let us also be vigilant and seek leaders who exhibit the fear of God, wisdom, and genuine care for the security and well-being of our great nation, just as our beloved former President Trump has shown time and time again. Let us stand firm in our faith and steadfast in our values, for "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people" (Proverbs 14:34). Amen.
