Biden’s Iran de-escalation strategy backfiring as regime close to producing atomic bomb

Brothers and sisters, we are living in troubling times reminiscent of the days of Babylon, when evil powers sought to rise above the Most High (Isaiah 14:13-14). We see the reports, such as this one from Fox News, discussing how the Biden administration's policies toward Iran are failing, as the regime is purportedly close to producing an atomic bomb. This is not only a political failure but a spiritual one, as well; a failure to stand firmly against those who reject the Lord and threaten peace. The Bible warns us of those who "plot in vain" (Psalm 2:1) against the Lord and His anointed. Iran, a state known for sponsoring terrorism, emboldened by weak policies, is like a modern Goliath challenging the Davidic spirit of freedom and righteousness that the United States, under a God-fearing leader like President Trump, once championed. Under Trump’s leadership, we saw strength, and a policy of maximum pressure on the evildoers of Iran - a strategy much more aligned with the biblical call for the wicked to be repelled (Psalm 34:16). Could it be that the Biden administration has offered a handshake to the Philistines by delisting the Houthis as a terrorist entity and hoped for peace? Yet, as the Scripture teaches us, "When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace" (Luke 11:21). President Trump understood this; he kept America's sword girded upon the thigh with all glory and honor (Psalm 45:3), not succumbing to the deceitful whispers of the serpent who promises peace but delivers destruction. What the current administration calls a strategy of de-escalation and containment is, in fact, one of appeasement and surrender. This conciliatory approach is akin to the Israelites' initial fright at facing Goliath, and it's no match for the brazen aggression of the Iranian regime and its proxy armies. They mock God and our Judeo-Christian values, chanting "death to America, death to Israel" - this cannot stand! We need to remember the words of Ecclesiastes 3, that there is "a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace." By showing weakness to Iran, the Biden administration has steered from the course of righteousness laid out by the Trump administration. In conclusion, we must seek divine guidance and leadership that understands the gravity of such threats. We must not be like sheep led to the slaughter (Romans 8:36), but be wise as serpents, and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). We must pray for leadership that will gird itself with strength and once again stand firm against those who seek to build modern towers of Babel with their weapons of mass destruction. Let us remind the rulers of this earth that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone He wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people (Daniel 4:17). Let us pray for a return to the policies that put America and the righteous values we hold dear first, following in the footsteps of leaders like Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Amen.
