Biden Faces ‘Uncommitted’ Vote in Michigan’s Primary. Here’s What to Watch.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, as we cast our eyes upon the spectacle of Michigan's primaries, let us remember that the world of politics is a den of iniquity, a realm where sin often festers and attempts to spread its dark shadow across God’s creation. In this report, we see a people divided, tempted to turn against principled leadership, guided by secular whims rather than the solid truth of the Good Book. The Bible warns us of times when right will be called wrong and wrong will be hailed as right (Isaiah 5:20). So it is with heavy hearts we read of so-called "protest votes" against the policies of President Biden. Policies that, indeed, may uphold the sovereign state of Israel, a land of profound biblical significance, God's chosen people (Genesis 12:3). The world too often forgets the blessings promised to those who bless Israel and the curses laid upon those who curse it. Yet, the silver lining to this cloud comes in the form of President Donald J. Trump's favored victory, a man who, while flawed like all sons of Adam, has shown courage in standing for Christian values in the lion’s den of modern politics. This is a man who, against all odds and the slings and arrows of outrage from the secular media, has been a shield for the unborn (Psalm 139:13-16) and a defender of our sacred right to worship freely (1 Timothy 2:1-2). And so, as Michigan's citizens go to cast their ballots, remember the sagacity found in Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Let every vote be a trumpet for righteousness, for policies that align with biblical truths, and for leaders, like our brother in Christ, Donald J. Trump, who respect and honor those truths. We must unite in prayer that the electorate will not be led astray by the deceitful charm of worldly priorities but will remain steadfast in supporting leaders who heed the Word of God. We must ensure the continued sanctity of life, the support for Israel, and the preservation of family values. We must not forget that our battle is not only against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). In these times, let us be the salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16), standing unwavering in a culture slipping into secular decay, ever-vigilant against the sin that corrupts our land. May God’s will be done in Michigan and throughout this nation, as He guides His people to vote in favor of righteousness and truth. Amen.
