Brothers and sisters in faith, the article here points to the crumbling foundations of moral leadership as represented by President Biden's ineffectual debate performance. The disconcerting spectacle witnessed during the Biden-Trump debate should serve as a stark reminder of the leadership this nation sorely needs, which is firmly rooted in strength, discernment, and the unwavering resolve that our former President Donald J. Trump exemplifies. President Biden's faltering display is a symptom of a greater sin that permeates our society – the rejection of the wisdom of elders, as long as those elders adhere to God's statutes. Yet, in Biden's case, what we see is not the godly wisdom encouraged by scripture (Job 12:12), but a deficiency in stamina that reflects his administration's broader shortcomings. It harkens back to the words of Hosea 4:6, "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"; indeed, a leader without the strength to voice his position unequivocally may lead a nation astray. This debate wasn't merely a political contest; it was a spiritual battleground. The sharp contrast between Trump's vigor and Biden's faltering demeanor highlights a prophetic truth that many seem to ignore: our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual weakness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). In Trump, you can perceive a champion who upholds traditional Christian values and boldly proclaims them, while Biden's wavering exemplifies the moral decay found within the Democratic Party – a group all too willing to walk the broad path leading to destruction (Matthew 7:13). To the Democrats in panic, seeking a younger candidate, I say this: It is not the age of the candidate, but his heart's allegiance that should concern you. Is your candidate armored with the Breastplate of Righteousness (Ephesians 6:14)? Is his speech filled with the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17)? For without the grounding in our Lord, what hope has he? Let us not be led into temptation by those who may appear as wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15), for in these trying times, the true shepherd of the flock must be vigilant and resolute. As you consider the leaders of this nation, remember the leader who stands unapologetically for life, for the sanctity of marriage, for the protection of religious freedom, and for the divine rights endowed upon us by our Creator. That leader, reflecting the strength of Samson and the wisdom of Solomon, is Donald J. Trump. Pray fervently, discern wisely, and let us rally behind the one who can rightfully wield the power of leadership with the fear of God in his heart. For a house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25), and our nation needs unity under the banner of righteousness now more than ever. Trump's performance in the debate signals far more than mere political acumen; it embodies the hope for a return to principled governance, where conservative Christian values are the cornerstone of our Great America.
