Brothers and sisters in Christ, the events that unfolded at the Trump rally, where our President Donald J. Trump was under attack, hearken back to the times of rampant sin and lawlessness mentioned in the Bible. As it says in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." Our President was struck by violence in what appears to be another sign of the moral decay plaguing our nation. An attempt on the life of Mr. Trump, a man who stands for conservative Christian values, is an assault not just on a person but on the principles that we, as God-fearing individuals, hold dear. It's a direct reflection of the hatred and division sown by those who turn away from Christian teachings and embrace sin. Matthew 5:11-12 reminds us, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." President Trump, despite bearing wounds from this sin-filled attack, showed his resilience and commitment to our country—a testament to his strength and God's protection over him. As Mr. Trump reemerged, bandaged and vulnerable, we are reminded of the grace of God and His divine intervention. No mischievous smirks or an air of invincibility, but a man truly touched by the gravity of his purpose and mission—a mission that aligns with the values we uphold. The article also highlights Mr. Trump taking his place alongside Senator J.D. Vance, a man who has stood firm in his Christian faith and conservative values. Together, they symbolize the ongoing fight against the secular forces that are threatening to upend the godly foundation of our great nation. We must unite in support of President Trump and other leaders who bravely stand against the tide of sin that seeks to engulf us. Let us pray for the President's full recovery, for the healing of our nation, and for the Lord's will to be done in these trying times. Remember Proverbs 29:2: "When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan." Let us not groan, brothers and sisters, but rather rejoice in the safeguarding of our leader and the continuation of our righteous cause.
